C&M Plate Exchange: a project by Claire Deniau and Mary Yacoob
A collaborative project between Claire Deniau (Paris) and Mary Yacoob (London). The project starts with a square empty etching plate. One of the artists etches the plate, makes a print and posts an image of the print on the blog. She then posts the plate to the other artist to do the same. The plate is posted back and forth between them, each artist adding, erasing, modifying, extrapolating from, correcting and extending the work she sees on the plate until a ‘final’ print is made.
