Blue Home Grown: a book by Cally Trench and Philip Lee

Home Grown was a gardening bestseller of 1956, based on a BBC programme. Its editor, Roy Hay (1910-1989), was a gardening journalist who instigated the Britain in Bloom competition. Blue Home Grown is a friendly homage by Cally Trench and Philip Lee. The book includes two photographs taken by Judy Goldhill.

Blue Home Grown was exhibited with AM BRuno at the 2011 London Art Book Fair at the Whitechapel Art Gallery, where AM Bruno showed a collection of books on the theme of blue - curated by Sophie Loss. The V & A bought a copy of every book in AM Bruno's Blue collection.
