LETTER EXCHANGE
Cally Trench and Lorraine Pepper-McCrudden have been writing each other letters since September 2009, and are planning to continue until the end of Remarkable and Curious Conversations. So far, the letters have discussed Goethe, Howard Jacobson, science and art, Darwin, cheesecake, beauty, romanticism, flame-patterned curtains, and sledging. Cally and Lorraine live about a mile apart, teach part-time for the same college, and meet regularly for lunch, but the letters allow different things to be discussed in different ways.
